The Making Of A Star

The making of kingdom stars
Follow me and I will make you

Sometimes in our life we feel that before God can use us as are, we have to be something great already.

Mat 4:19    And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men

God shows us that we do not need to be great at all when he make the invitation.

The one thing I love about God is how sure HE is about YOU.
God is so confident in what He can do with you and he simply say follow me and I will make you.

God did not called the greatest to be the greatest in His kingdom
There is no need to be great— He want to make you great—- you are nobody but he want to make you somebody—–
God call least of people to make them the greatest of ALL

God let us to know that he is not concern of what you have to offer— He is concern with what is to make you.

He said Follow me. What a statement!

“I am the truth; I am the life; I am the bread of life; I am the true vine; I am the good shepherd.” ——what a boast, what a declaration 1AM

Revelation 22:16

Christ’s Witness to Himself
I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.—Rev 22:16.

1. This is the last place in Scripture where the Redeemer bears witness to Himself. A few verses below He once more promises to return—“I come quickly”—but of His own words regarding His own excellence and majesty, this is the last: “I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.”

It takes a star to make another

Christ as the Morning Star suggests
(1) the Distinction He has;
(2) the Light He gives;
(3) the Cheer He imparts;
(4) the Hope He inspires.

We are replica of who we follow.

Jesus did not give them hooks, net to catch men naturally rather he them something spiritually that they do not possess before. ‘He them himself’

Jesus has the power to make you what ought to be in life

I think of Michaelangelo
He standing before a great big rock and some kind of a granite. He had chisel and hammer in his hand.
And he begin to chisel and hammering away the great rock.
Somebody saw said to him — what are you doing?
He said, When I look at this rock , I see an angel. I see angel trapped in that rock. I am determine to let the angel in this rock out.

Your life might like that
It may be mess up
You may be up and out and down out
You may have made thousand mistakes
You may being like scramble eggs that can never be strengthen out

But listen God look at you and sees you differently

Like Michaelangelo
God says
I see angel in you
I see a daughter of God
I see a successful person
I see a world changer
I see somebody I can use

I will make you! Like Michaelangelo with a chisel and hammer in his hand.
God will chip away those –
Limitation
Failure
Mess
Depression
Hurts
Pain
Lack

He will chip them away All that make you feel not important in life.

Follow means ” put your life in my hand”
I have the power to make you.
Mark 5
He had to be chained
He broke the chain
He tore his clothes
He ran naked

Follow me and I will make you does not mean salvation only. It mean I will save you and enlist you for kingdom use.

We have a God who wastes nothing. No body is a WASTE
He has ALL the POWER to make you

The word MAKE means ( Asah or Bara)
To labor
To creat
Construct
Constitute
To make happen

1Sa 22:1    David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father’s house heard it, they went down thither to him.
1Sa 22:2    And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

How to become a Star in the Kingdom

2. Discipline
3.Teachable ( the most dangerous Christian are the unteachable)
4. Ready to exchange your pulse for God’s purpose
5 willingness to let go

I AM, THAT I AM, I AM
